Privacy and KVKK Notice

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Türkol Turizm Otelcilik ("Quiet Abana") as the data controller.

2. What data do we process?

• Reservation form: full name, email, phone (optional), check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, stay preference, anything you write in the note field, and the language of the form.
• Technical information: your IP address, browser details, and the date and time of the request when you send the form.
• Direct contact: whatever you share with us by phone, email or WhatsApp.

Please do not write special categories of personal data, such as health information, in the note field. Identity details taken at check-in are outside the scope of this notice; you will be informed about them separately at check-in.

3. Why do we process it, and on what legal basis?

• To assess your request, reply to you and plan your stay: establishing or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
• To meet our legal duties: legal obligation (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç).
• To protect our rights in a possible dispute: establishing, exercising or protecting a right (KVKK Art. 5/2-e).
• To keep the site secure and prevent misuse: legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).

We will not send you commercial messages without your separate consent.

4. How do we collect it?

We collect your data when you send it to us through the website form, by phone, by email or on WhatsApp. Technical information is collected automatically when you send the form.

5. Who receives your data?

• The hosting and technical support providers we use to run the site.
• Authorised public bodies, when they request it.

We do not sell your data. When you open the site, your browser loads some content from external services, which passes your IP address to them. Their servers may be outside Turkey:

• Google Fonts: typefaces.
• cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr: software libraries used for page animations.
• Google Maps: only the map on the Location page.

When you click a WhatsApp, Instagram or Google Maps link, those companies' own privacy rules apply.

6. Cookies and visit statistics

Our site sets no cookies of its own, does no advertising tracking and does not follow individual visitors. To improve the site we keep only combined totals: daily page views, the page opened, the site language, device type (phone or computer) and general source (for example Google). These totals contain no IP address or browser details and cannot be linked to anyone. The Google Maps map on the Location page may use cookies set by Google.

7. How long do we keep it?

Requests that do not lead to a stay are deleted within 1 year at the latest. Records of completed stays are kept for the period required by the applicable legislation, then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, ask for information about it.
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly.
• Know who it has been transferred to, in Turkey or abroad.
• Ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected.
• Ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions set by the law.
• Ask for corrections and deletions to be notified to those who received the data.
• Object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis.
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

We will resolve it free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if it involves a separate cost, the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can complain to the Board.

We may update this notice when needed. The current version is always on this page, with the last update date at the top.
